King’s Cross is one of Europe’s largest city centre regeneration areas, with major redevelopments underway at St Pancras and King’s Cross Stations, the adjacent rail-lands and in King’s Place – the future home of Guardian Newspapers and London Sinfonietta. Create KX – the cultural industries development agency for the area – has commissioned 509 arts to undertake a feasibility study for a major events programme in 2007 to mark the opening of the International Station and the arrival of the first Eurostar.
